Welcome to Summer

I feel like summer is finally here.

I was finished on Wednesday, but summer began today because I have all my grades and so I can stop worrying (I'm a worrier about grades). Good news, I did well in all my classes!

There are several things on my to-do list for this summer. The most daunting is my thesis, which I will begin in the next week or so with a meeting with my adviser.

I am also picking up several odd jobs to make some extra cash, because gas prices continue to rise, making our frequent treks home more and more expensive. I am going to be doing some transcription work for two different doctoral students and am also working on a coding project for my adviser.

Other than those things, summer will be spent going to Florida, going to a ton of weddings, and catching up on reading stuff for fun!

Congrats on doing well in school! YEAH! Now you can fully enjoy the summer!
How many weddings do you have to attend this summer? Last summer I think I had 3 !

Seven.

We're invited to seven weddings. We have 2 days where there are 2 on the same day. The first time that happens, I'm in the wedding and they're about 2 hours apart, so we can't go to the other one. The second time Hal is singing in the wedding, but I'm going to go to the other one because she is a good friend. We'll meet up sometime. :)

We also have 3 weddings in a week: June 28, July 3, July 5. :)

Congrats on finishing the semester! What will your thesis be about? I start mine in the fall, so we can totally commiserate!
